DYA Fall Boys Lacrosse

DYA Fall Boys Lacrosse is a one-day-a-week program that focuses on skills with some scrimmages. The program is perfect for multi-sport athletes who want to keep their skills fresh as well as players new to the sport with minimal commitment.

DYA Boys Lacrosse Summer Camp registration is OPEN. This three-day camp from August 5-7 focuses on skills and fun with instruction from college lacrosse players.

2024 Fall Boys Lacrosse - Registration

2024 Fall Boys Lacrosse

August 26-October 9

Kindergarten-2nd Grade: Mondays

3rd/4th Grade: Tuesdays

5th/6th Grade: Wednesdays

DYA Fall Boys Lacrosse is a one-day-a-week program on weeknights that focuses on skills with some scrimmages. The program is perfect for multi-sport athletes who want to keep their skills fresh as well as players new to the sport with minimal commitment.

The DYA Fall Boys Lacrosse program for Kindergarten-6th grade boys consists of 3 divisions. Players must be registered to play with their grade level.

Divisions (2024-2025 school year):

K-2nd Grade Division

3rd/4th Grade Division

5th/6th Grade Division

Dates/Times:

K-2nd Grade - Monday evenings: August 26-October 7, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

3rd/4th Grade - Tuesday evenings: August 27-October 8, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

5th/6th Grade - Wednesday evenings: August 28-October 9, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Labor Day Week Break: No Fall Boys Lacrosse activities the week of Labor Day (September 2-4)

Field Location: Darree Fields (6259 Cosgray Rd)

Equipment: Lacrosse balls and goalie equipment are provided by DYA.

All players are required to have a lacrosse stick and mouth guard. Cleats are recommended for all players. These items are not provided by DYA and will need to be purchased by parents. DYA does not sell these items.

In addition to the lacrosse stick and mouth guard, the following equipment is required:

K-2nd grade: Helmet & gloves (K-2nd grade is non-contact; the helmet is intended to acclimate players)

3rd-6th grade: Helmet, gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, DYA green/white reversible jersey

**Rental Equipment Available**

Helmet, gloves, elbow pads and shoulder pads are available to rent from DYA for the fall season for $40 with a $350 deposit check. Your deposit check will be returned upon the return of equipment at the end of the fall season.

Program Fee: $30, plus the cost of a jersey, if you need one.

Jerseys: All 3rd-6th grade players wear the reversible DYA green/white lacrosse jersey. The jersey is the same as prior years and is $30 to purchase.

DYA Boys Lacrosse Equipment Rental Pick-Up Dates/Times:
Saturday, August 24 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Monday, August 26 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM
Tuesday, August 27 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM

Be sure to bring a check when picking up equipment. Equipment cannot be rented without a deposit check. Deposit checks (for $350, payable to DYA) should be postdated 10/31/2024. The deposit check will not be cashed unless equipment is not returned after the season. The equipment rental pick-up location is the DYA Office (6543 Commerce Pkwy Suite G).

Do you reside outside of DYA boundaries?: This program is open to all families residing within the boundaries of the Dublin City School District or within the City of Dublin. Out of boundary families may participate if there is space available in their child's division.
