DYA Fall Boys Lacrosse

Registration for 2024 DYA Fall Boys Lacrosse begins June 15.

The information below is from the 2023 Fall Boys Lacrosse season. 2024 Fall Boys Lacrosse program information will be published this spring. The program will be structured similarly to 2023.

2023 Fall Boys Lacrosse - Program Information

2023 Fall Boys Lacrosse
August 28-October 11
Kindergarten-2nd Grade - Mondays
3rd/4th Grade - Tuesdays
5th/6th Grade - Wednesdays

DYA Fall Boys Lacrosse is a one-day-a-week program that focuses on skills with some scrimmages. The program is perfect for multi-sport athletes who want to keep their skills fresh as well as players new to the sport with minimal commitment.

The DYA Fall Boys Lacrosse program for Kindergarten-6th grade boys consists of 3 divisions. Players must be registered to play with their grade level.

Divisions (2023-2024 school year):
K-2nd Grade Division
3rd/4th Grade Division
5th/6th Grade Division

Fall Boys Lacrosse Dates/Times:

K-2nd Grade - Monday evenings: August 28-October 9, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

3rd/4th Grade - Tuesday evenings: August 29-October 10, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

5th/6th Grade - Wednesday evenings: August 30-October 11, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Labor Day Week Break: No Fall Boys Lacrosse activities the week of Labor Day (September 4-6)

Field Location: Commerce Parkway Fields (6670 Commerce Pkwy)

Equipment: Lacrosse balls and goalie equipment are provided by DYA.

All players are required to have a lacrosse stick and mouth guard. Cleats are recommended for all players. These items are not provided by DYA and will need to be purchased by parents. DYA does not sell these items.

In addition to the lacrosse stick and mouth guard, the following equipment is required:
K-2nd grade: Helmet & gloves (K-2nd grade is non-contact; the helmet is intended to acclimate players)
3rd-6th grade: Helmet, gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, DYA green/white reversible jersey

**Rental Equipment Available**Helmet, gloves, elbow pads and shoulder pads are available to rent from DYA for the fall season for $40 with a $350 deposit check. Your deposit check will be returned upon the return of equipment at the end of the fall season.

DYA Boys Lacrosse Equipment Rental Pick-Up Dates/Times:
Saturday, August 26 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Monday, August 28 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM
Tuesday, August 29 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM

Be sure to bring a check when picking up equipment. Equipment cannot be rented without a deposit check. Deposit checks (for $350, payable to DYA) should be postdated 10/31/2023. The deposit check will not be cashed unless equipment is not returned after the season. The equipment rental pick-up location is the DYA Office (6543 Commerce Pkwy Suite G).

Program Fee: $30, plus the cost of a jersey, if you need one.

Jersey Information: All 3rd-6th grade players wear the reversible DYA green/white lacrosse jersey. The jersey is the same as prior years and is $30 to purchase.
