2025 Dublin Select Girls Lacrosse: 3rd/4th Grade Division

The Select Girls Lacrosse program is an all-star program and unlike the DYA Recreation League playing time will not be equal or guaranteed, however best efforts will be made to ensure playing time for all players. All players wishing to play on a Select team must be registered participants in the DYA Recreational League.

This will be the 10th year that Dublin Girls Lacrosse has formed a 3rd/4th Grade Select team.

We are also trying to field a second select team which would be more of a developmental team. If your daughter is looking to play more lacrosse, but might not be at the higher level, this may be a great opportunity.

3rd/4th Grade Select Girls Lacrosse Skills Sessions/Tryouts:

If your child has Rec Lacrosse practice during those dates, she will be excused from practice to attend tryouts.

During these skills sessions, coaches will determine who will be selected for the team(s). Once the team(s) are selected, the practice schedule will be announced.

There is a separate fee for Select Lacrosse. The fee is estimated to be around $90-$100 per player. All players will need to provide their own goggles, mouth guard and stick.

2025 Dublin Select Girls Lacrosse: 5th/6th Grade Division

All players wishing to play on a Select team must be registered participants in the DYA Recreational League

We will have both an A and B team only if we have the numbers to field 2 teams.

5th/6th Grade Select Girls Lacrosse Skills Sessions/Tryouts:

If your child has Rec Lacrosse practice during those dates, she will be excused from practice to attend tryouts.

During these skills sessions, the coaches will determine who will be selected for the team/teams. Once the team/teams are selected, the practice schedule will be announced. Most of the practices will be on Mondays and Wednesdays after Rec Lacrosse practices with occasional practices on Saturday afternoons.

Requirements: Players will be required to attend at least 70% of all practices and must be available to play in all of the tournaments and play days. If there is a conflict with 1 tournament, please let the Program Director know before tryouts to ensure enough players will be present for all tournaments. All players must provide their own goggles, mouth guard and stick.

Fees: There is a separate fee for Select Lacrosse. The fee pays for tournament entry fees and a Select Lacrosse t-shirt. The fee is estimated to be around $125+ per player. The fee will be paid by check (payable to DYA) and given to coaches upon request.
