DYA Lacrosse is looking for lacrosse officials in the 8th-12th grades to referee our youth games. Games last approximately an hour each for the Rainbow (1st/2nd grade), Native American (3rd/4th grade), and Collegiate (5th/6th grade) divisions. Games are played on Sundays beginning at 12:30 pm (Rainbow 1/2), 2:15 pm (3/4 Native American), and 4 pm (5/6 Collegiate), and some Thursday and Wednesday evenings towards the end of the season. Rainbow officials officiate solo while Native American and Collegiate games officiate in pairs.

Season: 4/11 through 5/16. Pay is $20/game.

Responsibilities:

-Attend pre-season officials meeting and training

-Arrive promptly to each game to start on-time

-Posses knowledge and application of DYA lacrosse rules (similarities and differences) at each division level. 

-Be comfortable controlling play of the game, making calls and instruction/correcting play
