Umpire Clinic Dates
Note: Clinics are posted for a given season as soon as dates are confirmed. If the dates below are from last year, then they will be updated as soon as possible. In the meantime they provide a general idea of when the clinics will be held. Clinics are held at approximately the same time each year.
The program is now full and no additional umpire sign ups are being accepted in 2011.
Rules, scheduling information, and clinic times are posted below.
A reminder e-mail will be sent at least a week before the first clinic that will include the information below and an umpire program Introductory Letter.

Classifications, which determine pay grade, are based on participation in the clinics, regardless of the number of games previously worked. Umpires must attend their respective clinics to meet qualifications.
NOTE: starting in 2011, DYA is going to an online scheduling system (i.e., no more availability calendars will be required or mass e-mails with schedules sent out, etc.). The session at the Dublin Recreation Center will cover how to use this system and each umpire MUST attend.
Equipment will be distributed at the clinic sessions held at Avery Park; bring a $100 deposit check to obtain equipment for your use during the season.
All umpires are expected to attend the entire time assigned. These 3˝ to 4 hours of training will be helpful to you in your performance of your job as a DYA umpire.
